While others prayed for a daily bread,
She had to lean and believe in God for manna and quail.
Because it will be ridiculous of her
To hope for bread in the dessert
With no one but herself and God.
While others were praying for
God to straighten their path
She was asking God to make way
Because there was none
And there couldn’t be anything to straighten up
In the first place.
