If only we realized how directional roads to nowhere could be. I personally wonder why they call them roads to nowhere. Maybe that place is truly nowhere. But, the question still stands, why do they call them nowhere while you arrive at a destination? It may not be where you wanted.

The road to nowhere is the most directional road one could ever be on. It offers a permanent bump. Unlike other bumps in life, you get to slow down, cross the bump and continue. This one, gives you a dead end. For some, they were at a very high speed such that they did not get to even slow down at the bump. They just kept going. Traumatized by the hormones at that pace but, excited for the feeling. Driving to nowhere but, satisfied that they were still in motion.
But what if; a stop is what you needed! A road to nowhere offers just that! A time to come back to your senses. Reevaluate. Strategize. And as Pastor Sarah would say, starting over is not starting from scratch. You’ve got the experience. You now know how to duck better. Such that when you step into the ring again, you have not only learnt the opponent’s tactics but also evaluated your weaknesses.
It had to be called a road to nowhere. So as to redirect you psychologically. Unless you stop, there is no redirection.
If you feel like you are on a road to nowhere, don’t worry. There is light at the end of the tunnel and unless you stop to see, you might just miss it! Stillness is a force. Be still and know that He is God. He has got you at the palm of His hands. He is very intentional. You still have purpose. Even on that road to nowhere, Emmanuel is there. Listen to his voice.
